HARRISBURG – Senate Majority Leader Kim Ward (R-39) today offered the following statement regarding the PA Supreme Court ruling on Act 77.
“Today’s ruling by the PA Supreme Court comes as no surprise considering previous precedent set by the court. If anything, today’s decision reinforces matters related to ensuring integrity in our elections should remain with the people. It also underscores the importance of the actions recently taken by the General Assembly to add election safeguards including banning third party funding from running Pennsylvania elections and constitutional amendments on voter ID, and post-election audits.”
