Task Force on Child Protection to Hold Hearing at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC

Harrisburg – The Task Force on Child Protection will hold its next public hearing at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC on Thursday, May 31 at 9 a.m.

The 11-member panel was created through passage of Senate Resolution 250, sponsored by Sen. Kim Ward (R-39), who will take part in the hearing.

The Task Force will be hearing from mandated reporters of child abuse and those who train mandated reporters. NOVA (National Organization for Victim Assistance) will provide testimony relating to their training of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Diocese and Penn State University.

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC is located at One Children’s Hospital Drive, 4401 Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh. The hearing will take place in the John G. Rangos Sr. Research Center, rooms A and B.
