Greensburg, PA State Senator Kim Ward, along with Majority Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee Jake Corman, will hold a town hall meeting on Tuesday May 26, 2009 to discuss the 2009-10 state fiscal year budget. Senators Ward and Corman will outline the Senate’s version of the 2009-10 budget (SB850), and answer questions from those in attendance.
“There will be many hard decisions to be made as we work with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to craft a final budget,” stated Ward. “This is a prime opportunity for interested groups and the public in general to provide input to myself, and Senator Corman, prior to those negotiations,” she concluded.
