March 19, 2013 - Ben Delle Donne (undergraduate student from
North Huntingdon enrolled at Saint Vincent College) & advisor Dr. Jodis visited
the Capitol during Undergraduate Research Day. Ben’s project was titled "A Study
of Terrestrial and Aquatic Contamination from Solubilized Metals Associated with

March 13, 2013 - Senator Ward & Senator Fontana join
representatives of the seven regional PA Industrial Resource Centers (IRC) who
visited the Capitol in recognition of "IRC" Day in Pennsylvania.

guest Chaplain for the day for the Senate.

January 8, 2013 - Senator Ward participates in the
Celebrity Draft Horse Competition at the 97th Edition of the
Pennsylvania Farm Show. The fund-raising event is sponsored by the
Friends of the PA Farm Show Foundation and was held in the Farm Show
complex’s Equine Arena. The Friends of the Pennsylvania Farm Show
Foundation, Inc. stimulates, facilitates and supports educational
programs, as well as events and incentives relating to the annual

Senator Ward took part in the 97th Pennsylvania Farm Show to celebrate
agriculture from our region and across Pennsylvania. The largest indoor
agricultural exposition in the country, the show featured nearly 6,000 animals
and 10,000 competitive exhibits. Senator Ward took part in the Draft Horse
competition.
